Tralee Community Nursing Unit

Tralee Community Nursing Unit is an older person’s residential care facility.

In June 2012, residents and staff transferred from Kerry General Hospital to our new community unit which is a single storey purpose built facility on the periphery of the town of Tralee.

We are located close to Kerry General Hospital with access via Killerisk road at the back of Manor West Retail Park.

Tralee Community Nursing Units building reflects a strong sense of home with its cafe dock, library, dining room, sitting rooms and gardens.

Furthermore, a sense of community has been established through the use of mock shop fronts & doorways creating a street effect.

We at Tralee Community Nursing Unit strive to ensure that both residents and relatives will be given the best possible attention
