Maypark House Nursing Home

Maypark House is a private family owned Nursing Home which stands on a mature 12 acre site with views of the River Suir, Located on Maypark Lane, just off the Dunmore Road, it is secluded enough to the provide the optimum in peace and tranquility while also being adjacent to Waterford Regional Hospital. Maypark House was originally operated as a private hospital and latterly as a nursing home.

Prospective Residents and their family are encouraged and welcome to visit Maypark House at any time to view our facilities. Our home welcomes visitors at any time. Preferably, visits should not coincide with meal times. Relatives are encouraged to visit frequently and where possible, take their loved one out for the day, for tea or just for a drive; the seaside is only a few kilometers away.

Entertainment is provided on a regular basis, this includes music by visiting musicians and entertainers, use of our keyboard and karaoke machine are available to all. Outings to theatre and places of interest are arranged as appropriate. Maypark House has a small library which is augmented from the local Library in the Ardkeen Shopping Centre. Books in large print and books on cassette tape or CD are also available. We stock a small collection of DVD’s and will gladly play any favourites a resident may have or request to be played.
