St. Luke's Nursing Home

St Luke’s Nursing Home is a facility with over 100 year history in care of the older person.
The original home was founded in 1872 transferring to a purpose built facility in 1994.
In corpora ting the latest thinking in care of the older person, the building is divided into four residential units, which includes a dementia specific unit. All rooms are on the ground floor, with easy access to the landscaped gardens.

There is a chapel for regular services and private worship.

A Day care centre operates five days a week. A large conservatory, with patio doors looks out onto landscaped gardens towards the river Lee, this provides a relaxed, tranquil setting to meet friends or relatives We at St. Luke’s home believe the resident is the most important person.
Each resident has intrinsic worth and dignity and has a right to personalised respectful care.
Each resident has an entitlement to be autonomous, assistance to pursue personal goals and have a say in the running of the home. The staff of the home recognises their role as one of career, facilitator, friend and advocate; we have a full time resident advocate who enables residents and families to have a voice.

We aim to create a Home like environment where all residents feel safe, secure, supported and recognised for the unique individuals they are.
