Carrigoran House

Carrigoran House is a senior retirement care centre located in Newmarket - On -Fergus.

Carrigoran House is situated on a magnificent old estate overlooking the River Shannon with views of the beautiful Clare countryside in a tranquil setting, ideal for the care of the elderly. Established in 1974, the Home is owned and managed by The Sisters of Charity

All the rooms are designed so that residents can enjoy the natural beauty even when their physical limitations require that they stay indoors.

The beautiful grounds and gardens surrounding the centre provide great opportunities for residents to relax and walk in a safe and secure environment.

Carrigoran House provides a continuum of care that allows seniors who no longer wish to live alone the opportunity to move into a community where they will live among their peers and have the security of knowing that as they age they will not have to leave the place they call home.

Carrigoran House is ideally situated and designed to facilitate residents who may require Speciaised Care for Alzheimer's Residents.

A secure state of the art unit serves our special residents. The design and layout creates a home - like environment promoting a sense of comfort and wellbeing.

These small group living areas give a domestic feel and a sense of familiarity. This planned support infrastructure seeks to create an atmosphere of peace and calm where residents can enjoy living, continuing to use their skills to maximize their potential.
