Cahercalla Community Hospital and Hospice is a unique entity in that it provides three different areas of health care within the one structure;
 Nursing Home Care, Day Surgical & Out-patients Services and Hospice care.
Nursing Home Care,  caring for the older members of our Community is a top priority of Cahercalla Community Hospital & Hospice.
We provide  care to the residents in a friendly and reassuring environment close to family and friends. Our holistic approach ensures that individual needs are catered for.
The availability of day surgical, out-patient and hospice care services on site ensures that our residents have effective and prompt access to further medical services.
The residents experience is central to how our nursing home operates and we pride ourselves on not only responding to the medical needs of the resident  but also providing our residents with an a quality of life through meeting their social needs and individual preferences.
This has been achieved through a number of initiatives including an extensive activities programme, regular contact with the community including, visits from students in the local schools, concerts etc, alternative therapies eg. hand massage,   including home baking and a range of fresh choices each day.
