The first steps in finding a nursing home.

Finding the best option can take time, so if you think you may need a nursing home in the future, it's a good idea to do some planning now.

Useful first steps:

Ask: friends and relatives for their thoughts and their recommendations

Visit: your family doctor who will also be able to assess your needs and level of care you need
